报告人简介：

 Dr. Boris Baeumer ：He has M.S. in Hydrology, and Ph.D. in Pure Mathematics (1997, Louisiana Sate University). He has broad research interests in hydrology (modeling fractal flow and anomalous dispersion, heavy tailing and fractal pathways, and continuous time random walks) and many other disciplines.   Dr. Rina Schumer ：She has double masters (in Applied Mathematics and Hydrogeology) and Ph.D. in Hydrogeology (2002, University of Nevada, Reno). Her research (highly cited) covers both subsurface and surface environmental processes, including stochastic theory, sediment deposition, stratigraphic records, bedload transport, extreme value theory, and many other dynamic processes.
