内容提要:

The presentation will share an innovative spray wet scrubbing technology to recover ammonia emission from animal production facility for reduced environmental impact, and alternatively produce nitrogen fertilizer. It will also introduce electrostatic precipitator and electrostatic spray scrubber technologies for dust control at animal production facilities. 

报告人简介:

Dr. Lingying Zhao is a Professor at Department of Food, Agricultural, and Biological Engineering, the Ohio State University. She conducts research, teaching, and extension programs in bioenvironmental engineering monitoring and control, air quality engineering, and energy efficiency of agricultural facilities. Dr. Zhao holds a Ph.D. degree in Agricultural Engineering from University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign (UIUC), and M.S. and B.S. degrees in Bio-Environment Engineering from Beijing Agricultural Engineering University, China. Dr. Zhao has been actively publishing her works and successfully pursuing federal, state, and industry funding to support her research and education programs. She has received 26 grants and contracts for a total of $4.78 millions. To date, she has published 35 peer-reviewed journal articles, 49 conference symposium papers, 23 extension publications, 19 editor reviewed articles in popular press, 30 invited presentations, and 88 presentations at professional meetings. Dr. Zhao is an active member of American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers since 1997 and American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers since 2000. She served as the President of Association of Overseas Chinese Agricultural, Biological, and Food Engineers (AOC) during 2013-2014.
