Prof. Chang’s current research field covers Biochemical Engineering, Biomass Energy and Biofuels, Biorefinery, Microalgae Biotechnology and Engineering, Environmental Biotechnology, and Applied Microbiology. Prof. Chang is editor of Journal Bioscience & Bioengineering and editorial board members of many journals, such as Bioresource Technology, Enzyme and Microbial Technology, Biotechnology Journal, Biochemical Engineering Journal. Due to his achievement, he has won a lot of honors and awards. From 1989, Prof. Chang has published 320 refereed SCI-indexed journal papers (Total citation: 7850+ times) and 24 review papers, and obtained more than 30 patents, and over the past fifteen years, he has published six book chapters and one book “Biochemical Engineering” written by him has been published by Shin-Wen-Jing Publishers Co.
