报告人简介: Dr. Nearing works at the USDA-ARS Southwest Watershed Research Center and is adjunct Professor at the University of Arizona in Tucson. Dr. Nearing is recognized as an international leader in the areas of erosion processes, erosion modeling, and soil conservation, and recipient of the Hugh Hammond Bennett Award. He has authored more than 150 SCI, peer-reviewed journal articles, and is past-President and on the Board of Directors for the International Soil Conservation Organization, and has led or helped in the organization of many international meetings on soil erosion and conservation. His work has been cited in the scientific literature more than 5000 times. He is also a chief-editor for the journal International Soil and Water Conservation Research. |
